Delete Your Account
In Falak AI: More Than Flashcards you can delete your account and its data at any time, directly inside the app. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what we may keep and why.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Falak app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. We ask for a final confirmation because this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once you confirm, deletion begins. No further steps are required.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove the personal data tied to it, including:
- Your profile and login credentials.
- Your conversations with Sky (the AI tutor) and your question history.
- Your personalized Learning Paths and progress.
- Your Knowledge Bank: the PDFs, notes, and files you uploaded.
- Auto-generated study notes, flashcards, quizzes, and exams created for you.
- Your in-app preferences and settings.
What we may retain, and why
We may keep a minimal amount of data, and only for these reasons:
- Transaction and billing records, which we are required to retain for legal, accounting, and tax obligations. These records do not contain your study content.
- Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you, which may be kept for statistics.
- Data we are legally required to keep to respond to a lawful request or to prevent fraud.
Everything else — your personal data — is deleted.
Timeline
Deletion starts as soon as you confirm. Your personal data is typically removed within 30 days, including from backups. Records we are legally required to keep are retained for the period required by law and then deleted.
Important: cancelling your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription.
Falak subscriptions (weekly $14.99 / quarterly $24.99) are managed by Apple. To stop renewals and billing, you must cancel the subscription yourself in App Store settings:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Select Falak, then Cancel Subscription.
We recommend cancelling before you delete your account to avoid any automatic renewal.
Alternative: request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, send a request to support@falak.pro from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
